Commercial-grade #304 stainless steel is not a spec that shows up by accident — it is the baseline for a burner that is expected to live outdoors, run hot, and hold up. The Crystal Fire Plus 12" x 24" rectangular burner is built to that standard, rated at 55,000 BTU and certified to ANSI Z21.97-2017/CSA 2.41-2017 with both UL and ULC Listings.

At 25.75" wide by 13.56" deep by 4.63" tall and weighing 13 lbs, the burner pan itself is compact enough for a clean installation but sized to anchor a serious flame display across a full 12" x 24" fire opening. Ignition is handled by a manual push-button spark system — no fumbling for a lighter, no pilot to babysit.

The kit arrives with a meaningful list of included hardware: an LP hose and regulator, a metal flex hose, a ball valve, the push-button sparker system, a natural gas orifice for NG installations, and 8–10 lbs of tempered fire glass gems. Propane or natural gas — the choice is yours, and the hardware for both is already in the box.

On a standard 20 lb propane tank, expect a runtime of 8 to 16 hours depending on your flame setting — enough for a long evening, and then some. When you are finally ready to call it a night, the ball valve gives you a straightforward shutoff.

The burner is designed to work within the Crystal Fire Plus accessory ecosystem. Compatible add-ons include the Folding Glass Wind Guard (FWG-1224), the Rectangular Glass Wind Guard (FWG-1224), and the 12" x 24" Inset and Plate Kit (BP1224-A). Two bags of 5 lb Tempered Fire Glass Gems are required for a complete fill (sold separately). It fits Outdoor GreatRoom Company fire pit tables as well as custom-built fire pit installations where the opening matches the 12" x 24" footprint.
