The Outdoor GreatRoom Company DIY-48RD-K is built around a 48" Crystal Fire® Plus Round Burner Insert machined from Commercial Grade 304 stainless steel — the same alloy used in professional kitchen environments — and rated for up to 106,000 BTU on natural gas or 105,000 BTU on liquid propane. That's a serious amount of fire for a custom installation, and it arrives with the hardware to make it happen without a contractor on speed dial.

Designed specifically for block and paver applications, this kit contains everything the fire itself needs: the Crystal Fire® Plus round burner insert, a burner plate, control panel, vents, and a spread of clear tempered fire glass gems to give the finished pit a clean, luminous look. The kit ships configured for liquid propane, with a natural gas conversion kit included in the box — so your fuel decision doesn't have to be final at the time of purchase.

Ignition is handled by a battery-operated manual spark system with a built-in safety shutoff. If the flame is extinguished for any reason, the system automatically cuts the connection to the gas source. It's the kind of detail that matters more at 11 PM than it does in the showroom. The kit is UL and ULC Listed to ANSI Z21.97-2017/CSA 2.41-2017, meeting the certification standards you'd expect from a product going into a permanent installation.
