Built from commercial-grade 304 stainless steel, this 30-inch round burner is engineered to hold up in outdoor conditions without apology — and without requiring a welding certificate to operate.

Ignition is handled by a battery-operated piezo sparker paired with a variable control safety valve, so you get reliable, consistent starts and the ability to dial BTU output down to 50,000 BTU/hr when the evening calls for something a little less ambitious. The Positive Connect gas connections add an additional layer of confidence at the fuel supply, and the safety ignition and shutdown system means the burner behaves sensibly if something goes sideways.

Everything needed to get the fire burning arrives in the box: an LP hose and regulator, a metal flex hose, a control panel, and 25 lbs of clear tempered fire glass gems — roughly five bags' worth, and the recommended starting point for this burner size. The fire glass catches and scatters flame in a way that lava rock simply cannot match, though lava rock and other compatible fire media remain valid options if your design aesthetic points in a different direction.

Certification matters when gas and open flame are involved. The CFP30-K is UL and ULC Listed to ANSI Z21.97-2017/CSA 2.41-2017, which means it has been independently verified against a recognized North American safety standard — not just internally approved and shipped.
