Outdoor GreatRoom Cove 42" Round Fire Bowl in Supercast™ Concrete, Natural Grey

At 265 lbs and 42 inches across, the Outdoor GreatRoom Company Cove Fire Bowl is not something a gust of wind is going to relocate. The basin is formed from Supercast™ Concrete — a proprietary mix that delivers the dense, architectural weight of poured concrete with a surface finish refined enough for a premium outdoor setting. Natural Grey is one of three available color finishes for this model; the same bowl is also offered in Midnight Mist and White.

The heart of the Cove is a 30" Round Crystal Fire® Plus Burner constructed from 304-grade stainless steel — a material chosen for its resistance to the moisture and heat cycling that outdoor burners endure season after season. On propane, the burner is rated at 105,000 BTU; on natural gas, it steps up to 106,000 BTU. Both fuel types are supported, and ignition is available in two configurations: a battery-operated manual spark or an Electronic Direct Spark Ignition (DSI) system for push-button convenience.

Diamond clear tempered fire glass gems ship with the bowl, filling the fire ring with a light-scattering bed that amplifies the flame rather than competing with it. A grey glass burner cover is also included — practical for keeping debris out when the fire is off, and tidy enough to leave in place when entertaining. A 30" Round Glass Wind Guard (model GLASS-GUARD-30-R) is available separately and integrates cleanly with the burner for windier settings.

For those who want to move beyond fire glass, the Cove is compatible with several optional fire media: Tumbled Lava Rock, Black Lava Rock, Large Tempered Fire Glass Diamonds, and an Outdoor Ceramic Fiber Log Set. The bowl accommodates natural gas or propane from a supply line; note that a standard 20 lb LP tank will not fit within the base, so a remote tank or natural gas connection is the expected installation approach.

The CV-30 is UL Listed and manufactured in the USA with globally sourced components. A compatible 44" x 44" protective cover (model CVR42) is available separately and sized specifically for this bowl. At 19" tall, the Cove sits at a comfortable fire-viewing height without demanding a raised seating arrangement.
