The burner ignites via a battery-operated spark ignition system, so there's no hunting for a lighter or leaning awkwardly over the fire glass to get things started.

The table ships ready for liquid propane and includes a natural gas conversion kit, so you're not locked into one fuel type at purchase. The base accommodates a standard 20 lb propane tank internally, keeping the setup clean and the hoses out of sight. For those on a permanent natural gas line, the conversion hardware is already in the box.

Clear tempered fire glass gems come included as the fire media, catching and scattering the flame in a way that looks considerably more considered than a pile of lava rock.
