Construction starts with G90 marine-grade galvanized steel framing wrapped in Hardiebacker fiber cement board — materials chosen for longevity in demanding environments, not just cost efficiency. The interior is lined with 304 stainless steel, a grade that handles sustained heat cycles without complaint and cleans up without drama. At 267 lbs, the unit arrives as a serious piece of equipment, not a showroom prop.

The included Crystal Fire Plus BI766 burner delivers up to 100,000 BTU via Direct Spark Ignition — no pilot light left running around the clock. The IPI (Intermittent Pilot Ignition) valve system means the pilot only lights when the fireplace is in use, keeping operating costs honest. Natural gas inlet pressure runs between 4.5" and 10.5" WC, and hard-pipe installation is recommended for a clean, permanent setup.

Glass wind guard panels ship with the unit, and the vents arrive pre-installed, so the rough-in process doesn't require you to sort through a pile of loose hardware before getting started. A control panel cut-out is already in place for your external controls — timers, remotes, and emergency stop accessories are sold separately, giving you flexibility to spec the control system that fits your project rather than defaulting to whatever happens to come in the box.

The burner is rated for 50 lbs of fire media. Tempered fire glass or lava rock (sold separately) lets you dial in the aesthetic from contemporary glowing-ember to something more dramatic. The unit ships in one piece for enclosures eight feet or less — a practical detail that matters on installation day.
