The kit ships configured for LP, with a natural gas conversion kit included in the box for those who'd rather run a dedicated line. One important note: this burner is not compatible with 20 lb propane tanks, so plan your fuel supply accordingly.

Ignition is handled by a battery-operated sparker with a safety ignition and automatic shutdown system — if the flame goes out unexpectedly, the burner cuts its connection to the gas source rather than quietly letting gas accumulate.
