At 55,000 BTU, the Crystal Fire Plus burner delivers serious heat output alongside a dramatic flame display, made all the more striking by the 25 lbs of clear tempered fire glass gems included in the box. The no-flange edge design is built specifically for undermount installation, giving custom fire pit builds a clean, flush finish with no visible hardware interrupting the aesthetic.

Direct Spark Ignition (DSI) means push-button starts — no reaching for a lighter, no awkward lean-over moment in front of guests. The integrated safety ignition and shutdown system automatically cuts the gas supply if the flame is ever extinguished unexpectedly, which is the kind of feature that does its job quietly and earns its keep every time.

The kit ships ready to connect to liquid propane, with an LP hose and regulator, metal flex hose, ball valve, and push button sparker system all included. A natural gas orifice is also in the box, and the burner can be field-converted to natural gas by a certified gas technician — making this a practical choice whether you're building around an existing propane setup or planning a permanent natural gas line connection. On a standard 20 lb propane tank, expect 8 to 16 hours of runtime depending on your flame setting.

Control is handled by the included Variable Control Safety Valve System Kit (VCSV-CP), which allows precise flame adjustment rather than an all-or-nothing output. The system is UL and ULC listed to ANSI Z21.97-2017/CSA 2.41-2017, meeting the safety certification standards that matter for permanent outdoor installations.
