Depending on which burner and fuel type you select, BTU output ranges from 65,000 to 154,000 — and flame height runs 18 to 34 inches. That's a meaningful range, whether you want a calm ambient glow or something that genuinely earns its keep on a cold evening.

Three ignition options are available to pair with this bowl: Match Throw for straightforward simplicity, Thermocouple Piloted Safety Ignition (TPSI) for added security, and the All-Weather Electronic ignition system for push-button convenience regardless of conditions. All ignition systems are sold separately, as are burner kits and lava rock media.

It's worth noting that the Sanctuary 2 is approved for use with lava rock only — not glass or other decorative media. The 57-pound lava rock requirement is specific to this model and the Sanctuary 3, so keep that in mind when building out your complete setup.

The Sanctuary 2 is available in five concrete finishes: Arctic (white), Chocolate (brown), Slate (grey), Raven (black), and Cream. Each colorway is a distinct cast finish, not a paint or coating, so the look holds up over time in outdoor conditions the way concrete is supposed to.
