The Firegear 34" Round Stainless Steel Flat Pan pairs a commercial-grade 21" Pro Series Brass Spur Burner with a 175,000 BTU output — a figure that leaves no ambiguity about the kind of fire presence this system is engineered to produce. The flat pan format keeps sightlines clean and uncluttered, making it a natural fit for installations where the flame itself is the centerpiece rather than the hardware surrounding it.
Ignition is handled by a TPSI (Thermocouple Piloted Safety Ignition) system with a battery-powered spark igniter. The thermocouple serves as a continuous safety check: if the pilot flame is ever interrupted, the gas supply is automatically cut off. It is the kind of safeguard that earns its keep quietly, every single time.
Constructed from stainless steel, the pan is built to hold up in the conditions outdoor installations demand. At 35 lbs and sized at 34" across, it is substantial without being unwieldy during the installation process. The 1/16" pan lip keeps the profile refined, while a 21" burner opening aligns precisely with the Pro Series burner for a flush, intentional fit.
Installation requires a non-combustible enclosure and adherence to the specified clearances: 32" to combustibles, 36" to sides, and a minimum of 8" clearance above. Ventilation requirements are 18 square inches — details worth having in hand before the enclosure goes in. A stainless steel flex gas connector is included in the box, which covers one of the more fiddly parts of the gas connection. The #61 (0.039) injector is sized for natural gas; a propane version (FPB-34DPSBR21TPSI-P) is available for installations that call for it.
This unit is part of Firegear's FPB Pro Spur Burners series. The valve kit and decorative face plate are sold separately as part of the FPB Series kit — so plan your complete configuration before finalizing your order. Pilot tubing and thermocouple length runs 48", providing reasonable flexibility when routing within a custom enclosure build.
