The Firegear 29-inch Flat Disc Burner System is a purpose-built block burner component rated at 125,000 BTU, anchored by a 22-inch burning spur and fabricated from 304 stainless steel throughout. At just 1/16-inch depth, the disc pan sits flush and clean inside a finished enclosure — a detail that matters when the surround is as deliberate as the flame.

Ignition is match-throw, straightforward and reliable. Natural gas is the native fuel with a normal operating pressure of 7.0 inches water column (range: 5.0–10.5 in. WC), and the #16 orifice is sized accordingly. Converting to liquid propane is supported via the OAS-LPK31 conversion kit, which switches the orifice to #31 and adjusts the pressure spec to an 11.0 in. WC normal operating point (range: 10.5–13.0 in. WC).

Installation requires a non-combustible enclosure — no exceptions — along with a minimum of 18 square inches of ventilation per side of the finished structure. These aren't bureaucratic fine print; they're the conditions under which this burner does what 125,000 BTU should do without incident. Your installer will appreciate that the requirements are specific rather than vague.

The kit ships with everything needed to commission the burner: the disc pan, flex line, shutoff valve, key, flange, and valve mounting plate. At 26 lbs., it's substantial without being unwieldy.
