At 285 pounds, it is not the kind of grill that moves around much, which is rather the point.
The total grilling real estate here is 1,080 square inches: a 792-square-inch primary cooking surface (36" W x 22" D) and a 288-square-inch warming rack (36" W x 8" D). The cooking grids are Fire Magic's signature Diamond Sear grids — trapezoidal 304 stainless steel rods designed to maximize contact and produce defined sear marks without sacrificing heat distribution.
Power comes from three distinct heat sources. Two cast stainless steel main burners deliver 64,000 BTUs across the primary surface, while a dedicated 25,000-BTU left-side infrared burner provides concentrated, intense heat ideal for searing. A 15,000-BTU infrared rotisserie burner handles the back of the hood, and the grill includes built-in storage brackets for the rotisserie spit rod — a thoughtful detail that keeps the accessory exactly where you need it. Total output across the grilling surface reaches 89,000 BTUs, with the hood thermometer capable of registering up to 1,000°F.
Ignition is handled by a hot surface electronic system with a flash tube backup — so if the primary ignition has an off day, there is a contingency plan.
