The Fire Magic Aurora A830 is a 46-inch built-in combo grill that refuses to ask you to choose a side. With 828 square inches of total cooking surface — 432 on the gas side, 396 on the charcoal — and an additional 368 square inches of warming rack space, this grill is genuinely suited to running two entirely different cooking methods at the same time, not just in theory.

Both cooking zones are outfitted with Fire Magic's 304 stainless steel trapezoid Diamond Sear grids, which deliver the same sear marks and heat retention regardless of which fuel you're working with. The gas side is powered by two main burners — cast from 304 stainless steel at a full quarter-inch thick — producing 50,000 BTU combined. The charcoal side gets a 26,000 BTU igniter, so lighting a charcoal bed is a matter of minutes rather than a philosophical commitment to lighter fluid.

The hood is double-walled 304 stainless steel and opens a full 90 degrees, giving you unobstructed access to the entire cooking surface. An analog thermometer with a polished stainless steel bezel reads up to 1,000°F — a range that covers everything from low-smoke cooking to the kind of heat that leaves a proper crust on a thick ribeye. Halogen interior lighting (12V) means you're not squinting at your cook once the sun goes down.
