The Fire Magic Aurora A790i is built around three cast 304 stainless steel burners — each a full quarter-inch thick — putting 90,000 BTU to work across a 792-square-inch Diamond Sear cooking grid. That's a serious amount of real estate, and the grids are designed to deliver the kind of sear marks that make a steak look like it earned its price tag.

Behind the main cooking zone sits a dedicated 20,000 BTU infrared back burner, purpose-built for rotisserie cooking. The A790i supports rotisserie loads up to 60 pounds — enough for a whole bird, a leg of lamb, or whatever weekend ambitions require. Rotisserie kits are available separately through Fire Magic's Aurora-series accessories.

Construction throughout is 304 stainless steel, and the firebox is backed by 16-gauge stainless steel flavor grids that vaporize drippings and return that char-grilled character to food rather than losing it to flare-ups. The double-walled hood opens a full 90 degrees and is spring-assisted, so it stays where you put it without any drama.

Ignition is handled by a hot surface ignition system — no clicking, no waiting for a pilot, just a turn of the back-lit LED Comfort Touch knobs. Interior halogen lighting means the grill is fully functional once the sun goes down, and the integrated analog thermometer keeps hood temperature visible at a glance without requiring a separate probe or a Bluetooth connection.

The A790i is designed for permanent installation, with a cutout requirement of 37" W × 23.5" D × 11.5" H and 18 inches of clearance required from combustibles on the back and sides. It integrates natively into Fire Magic Contemporary Island Systems, and compatible drawers, doors, insulating liners, and the 790-SC24 Portable Cart Base are all available separately. The optional Magic View Window — compatible with the A790i — lets you monitor cooking progress without lifting the hood and losing heat.

At 235 pounds of installed weight, this is a grill that stays put. The warming rack adds another 288 square inches (36" × 8") above the main surface for breads, sides, or anything that needs gentle heat rather than a direct flame. Electrical requirements are 120V AC, and the back-lit knobs and halogen lighting both draw from that same connection.
