The 660 square inches of primary cooking space (30" W x 22" D) is outfitted with Fire Magic's patented Diamond Sear cooking grids — a trapezoid design that increases contact between food and grid for sear marks that are as functional as they are photogenic. Below the food, 16-gauge stainless steel flavor grids vaporize drippings for consistent, smoke-kissed results. Above it all, the double-wall tear-drop hood opens to a full 90 degrees and houses an analog thermometer on an angled bezel, so you're never squinting at a gauge from an awkward angle.

Ignition is handled by a hot surface system running on 120 VAC (or 12-volt), so there's no piezo clicking and hoping. Back-lit comfort touch control knobs mean the grill is fully legible and usable after dark — as do the two halogen interior lights that illuminate the cooking chamber when the hood goes up. The 240 square inch warming rack (30" W x 8" D) keeps finished items at temperature while the rest of the meal catches up.

An optional 30" Portable Cart Gas Grill Base (model 660-SC24) converts this unit to a freestanding configuration. The A660i is also compatible with an optional Magic View Window and Fire Magic rotisserie kits and backburner accessories, all sold separately — this particular configuration ships without a backburner or rotisserie, but the architecture is there when you're ready.
