The Empire Tahoe 32" Direct Vent Fireplace delivers 24,000 BTUs through a clean-face front framed by a 25" x 27" tempered glass viewing area — giving you an unobstructed sightline to the flames without the visual interruption of a traditional surround. At 47¼" H x 34¾" W x 17⅝" D framing dimensions, it's sized for a meaningful focal point without requiring a wall that belongs in a cathedral.

Direct vent technology draws combustion air from outside and exhausts it back out through the same coaxial flue — a 4" x 6⅝" top-vent configuration that supports both vertical and horizontal runs (with certain limitations). That means cleaner indoor air quality and no need to sacrifice a traditional chimney. Because combustion happens in a sealed system, conditioned room air stays exactly where you paid to put it.

Ignition is handled by an intermittent pilot (IP) system with electronic ignition and a battery back-up — a practical detail that tends to earn its keep the first time the power goes out on a January night. You get reliable, on-demand starts without a standing pilot burning gas around the clock.

A barrier screen is included. The unit does require a ceramic fiber log set to complete the installation — sold separately, and compatible with the Empire Traditional Log and Ember Bed Kit for a classically layered, realistic hearth look.
