The Elite Radiant Vented Burner classification is an important distinction: this unit operates as a decorative vented system. It requires a proper chimney with a minimum height of 10 feet, and it is not rated as a primary heat source, nor can it be converted to vent-free operation. What it delivers instead is a convincing, beautifully rendered fire that pairs exclusively with two compatible log sets: the Pioneer Refractory Vented Log Set and the Kensington Forest Ceramic Fiber Vented Log Set. Ships standard configured for natural gas, with a regulator pressure setting of 5.3 inches WC and an operating gas pressure range of 6.0 to 10.5 inches WC. If your home runs on liquid propane, the Liquid Propane Conversion Kit (CKV121) is available separately to complete the transition.
