The American Outdoor Grill T-Series 30" starts with a fact worth noting: every structural surface exposed to heat, weather, or scrutiny is commercial-grade 304 stainless steel. The exterior, the burners, the cooking grids — the spec sheet doesn't hedge on materials here, and neither do we.
Three 304 stainless steel U-shaped tubular burners generate a combined 45,000 BTUs across a 540 sq. in. primary cooking surface — 30" wide by 18" deep — with an additional 151 sq. in. warming rack bringing total cooking area to 691 sq. in. That's enough real estate to run distinct heat zones simultaneously without compromising either. Precision brass control valves give you the kind of fine-tuned flame adjustment that separates deliberate cooking from guesswork.
The Diamond Sear™ cooking grids do more than hold food above a flame. Their geometry is engineered to maximize contact between food and hot metal, producing defined sear marks while managing flare-ups through the stainless steel vaporizer panels beneath. The result is consistent caramelization without the drama.
Ignition is handled by AOG's Flame Thrower Piezo system — no electrical connection, no battery compartment to forget about, no frustrating late-season click-click-nothing. It works the first time because it has to. The analog thermometer, mounted in a die-cast alloy bezel with a gun metal finish, reads to 800°F and keeps you informed without requiring an app.
The spring-assisted hood is robotically welded for a seamless profile, and it opens with the kind of smooth resistance that signals actual engineering rather than an afterthought. A slide-out drip tray handles cleanup without requiring you to disassemble anything.
For installation, the cutout dimensions are 30.5" W x 19.5" D x 8.5" H, with a counter overhang cutout of 34.5" W and overall grill dimensions of 34" W x 26.25" D x 20" H. Weight runs 130–140 lbs — substantial enough to feel permanent, manageable enough for two people to position. This grill requires no electricity whatsoever, which simplifies both installation planning and outdoor placement options considerably.
The AOG30TN ships as a natural gas model and includes orifices to convert to liquid propane — note that an LP regulator is not included and would need to be sourced separately for a propane setup. It's compatible with both L-Series and T-Series portable cart bases (specifically the 30CRT-25), so it works equally well as a built-in or freestanding unit depending on how your outdoor kitchen evolves. Rotisserie compatibility is supported on select configurations.
