The American Outdoor Grill 24-Inch L-Series starts with a fact worth noting: it's manufactured in the USA from 304 stainless steel — body, burners, cooking grids, vaporizer panels, and drip tray alike. At a price point where shortcuts are common, the material consistency here is not accidental.

Two tubular U-shaped 304 stainless steel burners produce a combined 32,000 BTU across a 432 sq. in. primary cooking surface. The Diamond Sear cooking grids leave legitimate sear marks and are built to the same 304 standard as the rest of the grill — not a lesser alloy dressed up to match. Add the 116 sq. in. warming rack and total cooking capacity reaches 548 sq. in., enough to run a full cook without a game of spatial Tetris.

The rear infrared backburner outputs 10,000 BTU and comes included with a complete rotisserie kit — spit rod, forks, and motor — so rotisserie capability isn't an upsell afterthought. It's part of the package.

Ignition is handled by AOG's Flame Thrower electronic push-button system, powered by a standard 120V AC connection (the same circuit that runs the interior halogen lights and the multi-color LED light bar along the front). The LED bar is a practical feature that doubles as ambient lighting — useful for evening cooks, and frankly more interesting than another row of knobs.

Control knobs sit in die-cast alloy bezels with a gun metal finish, flanking an analog thermometer in a matching die-cast alloy bezel. Solid brass valves manage gas flow. The spring-assisted hood reduces the effort of opening and closing during a long cook. A 10-inch stainless steel drip tray handles cleanup without drama.

Installation requires a cut-out of 24.5" W x 19.5" D x 8.5" H, with a counter overhang cut-out of 28.5" W. Overall dimensions are 27.875" L x 25.875" W x 14" H. This is a built-in grill head designed for outdoor kitchen integration, but it's also compatible with the 24CRT-25 freestanding cart if a built-in isn't in the plan. Patio post bases and in-ground post configurations are supported as well.

This unit ships as natural gas; a propane conversion kit is available for LP installations. The L-Series is also offered in a liquid propane configuration (AOG24LP) for those who need it from the start.

Some grills are assembled from a catalog of compromises. The AOG L-Series reads like someone actually decided what a well-built outdoor grill should be and then built it that way.
