American Fyre Designs Versailles 54" GFRC Firetable, Black Lava

At 54 inches across and 350 pounds of hand-cast Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete, the American Fyre Designs Versailles Firetable is not something you'll accidentally nudge out of place. That weight is a feature, not an inconvenience — GFRC construction gives this table the density, texture, and weather resistance of natural stone without requiring a structural engineer to sign off on your patio.

The Black Lava finish is one of seven available on the Versailles, ranging from the cool neutrality of Cafe Blanco and White Aspen to the rich, geological character of Dark Basalt and Travertine. Each finish is applied by hand, which means no two tables are quite identical — a fact worth mentioning to guests who ask where you found it.

At the center of the table sits a 16-inch stainless steel star-shaped burner producing up to 65,000 BTU on natural gas (60,000 BTU on propane). Flame height is controlled manually via a flame-sensing thermocouple system — match-lit, straightforward, and reliable. For those who prefer the convenience of a remote, the optional FyreStarter Electronic Ignition System upgrades the experience and includes a remote control kit.

The table ships with lava granules included to support proper burner operation. Decorative media — fire glass, lava rock, volcanic stones, river stones, creekstones, geo shapes, wood chunks, or glass nuggets — is sold separately through American Fyre Designs dealers and layered on top of the base media. The table is sized for approximately 80 pounds of fire glass or 40 pounds of lava rock, giving you room to create a genuinely custom fire display.

Running on propane? The Versailles accepts a standard 20-pound tank, and an optional tank cover and hose are available. Natural gas installations come with a flex connector included. Ball feet keep the table level and protect your deck or patio surface. An optional GFRC hard burner cover and a weatherproof fabric cover are also available for off-season or foul-weather protection.

This is a handcrafted, made-to-last outdoor centerpiece with real specifications behind it. The Versailles sits at 16 inches tall — low enough to function as a conversational fire feature around which chairs draw in naturally, rather than a tall table that separates people from the flame.
