The Cosmopolitan Square Dining Fire Table by American Fyre Designs measures a full 60 inches on each side and tips the scale at 500 pounds — two figures that tell you everything about how seriously this piece takes its job. Constructed from Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) in a refined Smoke finish, it brings the density and weather-resistance of concrete to the patio without requiring a forklift and a small miracle to get it there.

At the center of the table sits a 16-inch stainless steel star-shaped burner rated at 65,000 BTU under manual flame sensing control with match-lit ignition and thermocouple safety. Flame height adjusts manually, giving you direct, tactile control over the fire rather than delegating that pleasure to a remote you'll inevitably lose in a couch cushion. For those who prefer fully automated ignition, the optional FyreStarter Bluetooth electronic ignition system upgrades BTU output to 75,000 and requires a 120V AC power connection — a worthwhile consideration if your patio is already wired.

The fire table accepts either Natural Gas or Propane. Running on propane? The unit accommodates a 5-gallon tank internally, keeping fuel lines and hardware concealed within the table's base. Tank is not included. The burner is designed for use with approximately 20 lbs of media for standard coverage, or 40 lbs of fire glass (alternatively 25 lbs of lava media) for a fuller, edge-to-edge presentation. Lava granules and fire glass are each compatible; neither is included.

At 29 inches tall, the Cosmopolitan sits at a proper dining height, so guests aren't craning necks or contorting elbows to reach their plates while a live flame burns between the centerpieces. The table is ANSI certified and designed to meet those standards for safe residential outdoor use.

Two purpose-built accessories are compatible with this model: the 60-inch Square Fire Table Cover (Model 8137A) to protect the finish between uses, and the Large Square Glass Wind Guard (Model 8210-WG, 28"W x 28"D x 6.75"H) to keep the flame steady when the evening breeze has other ideas. Both are available separately.

The Smoke finish gives the concrete surface a cool, urban tone that works equally well against warm teak, dark powder-coated aluminum, or natural stone surroundings. This is a dining table that holds its own as furniture first — the fire is the bonus.
