The Contempo Fire Table from American Fyre Designs is built on a straightforward premise: serious materials, serious output, and no visible propane tank to spoil the view. At 52" wide by 36" deep and standing 18½" tall, this is a table that holds its ground — literally, given its 350-pound Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete construction.

GFRC isn't just a material choice; it's a deliberate one. It resists the cracking and chipping that plague lesser concrete products, holds up against freeze-thaw cycles, and takes a finish that looks intentional rather than incidental. Here, that finish is Silver Pine on the tabletop — a reclaimed wood-look surface with genuine visual texture — set against a Black Lava base. The combination reads more architectural than decorative, which is exactly the point.

At the center of the table sits a 24" stainless steel linear burner rated at 60,000 BTU on liquid propane. The Manual Flame Sensing Control ignition system keeps operation straightforward: no complex electronics, no app required. Note that a shut-off valve is required for installation and is not included — plan accordingly before your first fire.

The integrated pull-out drawer is one of those details that earns its keep every season. It's sized to house a horizontal DOT 20# LP cylinder — the standard 20-pound propane tank you'd pick up at any hardware store — keeping it out of sight and out of the way. The cylinder itself is not included, but the drawer that hides it very much is.

If Silver Pine isn't the right call for your space, this model's tabletop is also available in French Barrel Oak — same GFRC construction, same Black Lava base, different surface character. The base finish, for its part, is only available in Black Lava, so the pairing decisions are pleasantly limited.
