The Montigo Distinction D7215STNI-2 is a 72-inch see-through direct vent gas fireplace with a glass viewing area measuring 73 7/8" wide by 15 1/2" tall — a long, low panorama engineered to be experienced from both sides of a shared wall. At 780 lbs and a frame width of 79 1/2", this is not an impulse purchase. It is a structural commitment to doing the room divider properly.

The concealed linear burner runs the full width of the firebox, topped with standard Ice Fireglass media that scatters flame evenly across the viewing area. Multicolor LED uplighting adds a second layer of ambiance that remains fully adjustable after the fire is lit — because sometimes the mood changes before the evening does. The Invisimesh screen and black reflective glass panels frame the interior cleanly, without the visual clutter of visible mechanical components.

Heat output is rated at 57,000 BTU on both natural gas and propane configurations, with an efficiency rating of 73.86% on natural gas. A 30% turndown valve lets you dial output back meaningfully when the goal is atmosphere rather than warmth. Intermittent Pilot Ignition (IPI) means the pilot only runs when the fireplace is in use, which matters over the course of a season.
