This is the Full Load configuration, which means Montigo has bundled the components most installers and homeowners reach for first. The Proflame 2 IPI ignition system handles reliable electronic ignition with battery backup, so a power interruption doesn't leave you staring at a cold firebox. The included multi-function remote gives you high-low flame adjustment, fan speed control, and command over the halogen downlighting from across the room — because getting up to adjust a fireplace is a very 1987 activity.

The Invisimesh micro mesh safety screen is factory-included and nearly invisible in use, maintaining the clean sightline to the flame while keeping curious hands and pets at a safe distance. A dedicated fan system moves heated air into the room efficiently, backed by a thermal efficiency rating of 64.1% on natural gas and 64.7% on propane.

Installation flexibility is a genuine strength here. The unit frames to 49" wide by 55" tall by 22" deep, with clearances to combustibles of just 0.5" on the sides, 1" at the back, and zero at the floor — a meaningful advantage in tighter chase or framed-wall installations. Venting ships configured for 5"/8" direct vent but is field-convertible to 4"/7" depending on your venting path. The elevation rating extends to 4,500 feet, and the unit carries CSA/ANSI Z21.88-2019 certification. Mobile home installation is approved.

The Universal Burner System is worth noting: it supports both traditional logsets — Driftwood, Birch, and Split Oak are the available options — and contemporary glass media scenes, and you can switch between them without swapping the burner itself. If you're going the glass media route, plan to order 8 lbs. of glass media separately, as the media system is not included. Fuel conversion from natural gas to propane is handled via conversion kit GCA024 or GCA023, sold separately.
