The Montigo DelRay Linear starts with a 60½" glass opening — wide enough to anchor a living room wall without apology — tucked into a framing footprint of 65⅜" wide by 21⅞" tall by just 12¾" deep. That shallow depth is the detail contractors and designers tend to notice first: it fits comfortably between standard stud bays and leaves room for a clean, flush finish without requiring a bump-out or a creative structural workaround.
Inside, a 1,500-watt electric heating element handles the warmth side of the equation. That's a standard residential output delivered without a gas line, without a flue, and without any combustion byproducts — which makes installation considerably more straightforward and significantly broadens where in a home this unit can actually go.
What sets the DelRay apart from a purely functional standpoint is its accessory compatibility. Rather than locking you into a single factory look, Montigo designed the DelRay around a full ecosystem of finishing options. The adjustable trim kits let you dial in the surround fit regardless of your wall finish thickness. For the firebox interior, you can choose from speckled stones, driftwood, a split logset, or glass media — each creating a distinctly different aesthetic from the same core unit. If your client wants a coastal driftwood vibe in the beach house and a clean glass ember bed in the downtown condo, the same EDRL60 chassis handles both.
The framing dimensions — 65⅜" W × 21⅞" H × 12¾" D — are what you'll hand to your contractor or cabinetmaker. The glass opening itself measures 60½" wide by 14 11⁄16" tall, giving you a long, low horizontal flame presentation that reads as genuinely contemporary rather than as a rectangle trying to look like a traditional firebox.
This is a non-commercial unit designed for residential applications, and it is not offered with custom sizing options. What it is offered with is a price point — $2,499 — that sits well below what a comparable built-in gas linear typically costs once you account for gas line work, venting, and permits. The electricity bill will remind you it's running; the installation bill, refreshingly, will not.
