The Montigo DelRay Linear 72" spans 82¾" wide and frames nearly six feet of unobstructed flame — the kind of fireplace that makes a room stop pretending the TV is the main attraction. The glass opening measures 72½" wide by 14 11/16" tall, giving you a wide, low, cinematic flame profile that suits contemporary architecture particularly well.

At the heart of this unit is Montigo's Proflame 2 Basic IPI (Intermittent Pilot Ignition) system — an electronic ignition that lights on demand and shuts off when not in use, so you're not burning gas to maintain a standing pilot around the clock. The fireplace ships configured for natural gas (up to 35,000 BTU) and is convertible to propane (up to 32,000 BTU) with an optional conversion kit sold separately. Efficiency is rated at 66% for natural gas and 67% for propane.

The concealed burner keeps the mechanical hardware out of sight, letting the included 9 lbs. of ice fireglass do the visual work. The firebox interior is finished in black glass, which deepens contrast and reflects the flame without competing with it. Want to change up the look later? Optional media upgrades — driftwood, speckled stones, and additional glass media — are available separately, as are a micro mesh screen, black reflective glass panels, and heat management kits.

Installation is straightforward for experienced contractors working within the unit's direct vent specifications. The top vent configuration uses a 5" inner / 8" outer (5/8) direct vent system, with a maximum total vent run of 34 feet (vertical plus horizontal combined), a maximum vertical run of 34 feet, and a maximum horizontal run of 26 feet. The framing rough opening is 81" wide by 33 11/16" tall by 16" deep. The unit is certified for installations between 0 and 4,500 feet of elevation and is compatible with Montigo, Flexmaster, DuraVent, Metal-Fab, Selkirk, and ICC approved direct vent systems.

It's worth noting what the DelRay Basic model includes and what it doesn't — transparency matters when you're spending this kind of money. This unit comes with the Proflame 2 Basic control system and ice fireglass. A remote control, wall switch, fans, adjustable trim kit, and battery backup are all optional accessories available separately. The fireplace is not commercially rated, but it is both mobile home compatible and cool wall compatible, broadening its range of viable installation contexts.

Natural gas inlet pressure requirements are 5.5" to 14" WC; propane inlet pressure requirements are 11" to 14" WC. Confirm your supply pressure with your installer before finalizing the installation plan.
