Montigo DelRay Linear 72" Direct Vent Fireplace

The Montigo DelRay DRL7213NI-2 stretches 82¾" wide and frames a 72½" viewing window — a proportional statement that works in the spaces where smaller fireplaces quietly fail. With a viewing height of just under 15", the flame presentation is wide, low, and deliberate, the way a linear fireplace should be.

This is the full-load model, which means no guessing what's included: Proflame 2 IPI (Intermittent Pilot Ignition) control module, multi-function remote control, reflective glass panels, halogen downlighting, fan kit, micro mesh screen, and 9 lbs of ice fireglass media are all in the box. The Proflame 2 system handles on/off, flame height, and fan speed from the included remote — with the infrastructure already in place to add compatible wireless or thermostat-based controls down the road.

Natural gas output runs up to 35,500 BTU/hr; the unit is also convertible to propane (32,000 BTU/hr) with the appropriate conversion kit (GCA053), sold separately. Efficiency is rated at 66% on natural gas and 67% on propane. Direct vent operation uses a 5"/8" top-vent configuration, keeping combustion air and exhaust fully separated from the room — no chimney required, no indoor air quality trade-offs.

Installation flexibility is a genuine strength here. Combustible wood finishes can be brought right to the glass opening, which removes a common design constraint. The included Cool Wall Release kit makes the fireplace TV-compatible — mount your television above without the thermal anxiety. Montigo does recommend disconnecting the fans when using the Cool Wall Release or Cool Wall Advantage system to prevent heat buildup, a detail worth noting during installation planning. The unit is also Mobile Home approved and rated for elevations up to 4,500 feet.

Framing dimensions are 81" W × 33 11/16" H × 16" D, with a minimum chase opening of 64". The framing depth is 16". Natural gas inlet pressure range is 5.5" to 14" WC; propane runs 11" to 14" WC.

Optional decorative media — driftwood logsets, speckled stones, and colored glass in multiple finishes — are available to customize the firebox interior beyond the included ice fireglass. Trim kits and additional remote options (including the RX100 wireless full-load remote) round out the accessory ecosystem.
