The Montigo DelRay DRL4813NI-2 is built around a 48.5-inch wide glass opening — wide enough that you'll notice what's missing as much as what's there: no visible burner components, no cluttered interior. The concealed linear burner sits beneath 9 lbs of included ice fireglass, reflected back into the room through a reflective black glass interior that makes the firebox appear considerably deeper than its 12.75-inch depth might suggest.

Ignition is handled by the Proflame 2 IPI (Intermittent Pilot Ignition) system, which lights on demand rather than running a standing pilot continuously. Battery backup is built in, so a power outage won't leave you staring at a cold firebox. The included multi-function remote gives you full control from the couch, which — let's be honest — is where most fireplace decisions are actually made.

Direct vent construction uses a 4-inch inner / 7-inch outer coaxial venting configuration, drawing combustion air from outside and exhausting directly back out. This keeps interior air quality unaffected and makes the unit suitable for tighter, well-insulated spaces. Framing dimensions are 55 3/8" wide by 34" tall by 14.25" deep, with the unit itself measuring 57.25" wide by 26.75" tall by 12.75" deep — figures your installer will want before the drywall goes up.

Heat output runs 21,000 BTU/hr on natural gas at 63% efficiency, or 19,000 BTU/hr on liquid propane at 60% efficiency. A propane conversion kit is available as an optional add-on for those not on a natural gas line. The integrated blower system distributes that heat actively, though it's worth noting: when using the Cool Wall heat management systems (Cool Wall Release is included; Cool Wall Advantage is an optional upgrade), the blower should be disabled to prevent excessive wall temperatures.

Halogen downlighting illuminates the media bed from above, adding visual depth whether or not you're running the flame. The borosilicate glass panel and micro mesh safety screen are both standard inclusions — not afterthoughts. For those who want additional customization, optional accessories include adjustable trim kits, an Invisimesh screen, driftwood and speckled stones media alternatives, and a WiFi control dongle for smart-home integration.

The DRL4813NI-2 is approved for mobile home installation and rated for residential use. It's suitable for both new construction and retrofit applications. It is not rated for commercial use. Customization options are not available on this model, but the breadth of compatible DELRAY-series accessories — shared across the full DelRay line, including the eDELRAY electric variant — means there's meaningful room to tailor the finished installation to its surroundings.
