The concealed linear burner keeps the aesthetic clean, letting 9 lbs. of included Ice Fireglass do the visual work while producing up to 28,000 BTU/hr on natural gas or 25,000 BTU/hr on propane.

The SKU designation matters here. The DRL6013NI-2 is the Full Load version, which means it ships complete — six-speed circulating fans, Proflame 2 multi-function remote with flame and heat control, halogen downlighting, accent lighting, micro mesh safety screen, reflective glass panels, and battery backup are all included. The Basic version (DRL6013NI) omits all of that. If you're investing at this level, the Full Load is the one worth specifying.

Intermittent Pilot Ignition (IPI) means the pilot only runs when the fireplace is in use, which is a sensible efficiency choice. Rated efficiency sits at 64% for both fuel types. Direct vent operation uses a 4"/7" concentric system, drawing combustion air from outside and exhausting it back out — no dedicated chimney, no competing with your home's conditioned air. Approved vent systems include Montigo, Flexmaster, DuraVent, and Metal-Fab.

Installation flexibility is a genuine strong suit. Combustible facing can be brought right to the glass opening, the framing depth is 14.25", and the unit is rated for use up to 4,500 feet elevation. It's also mobile home compatible — a specification that many linear fireplaces at this size can't claim. The Cool Wall Release and Cool Wall Advantage heat management systems are compatible for installations where mantel or surround clearances are a consideration.

Media and finishing options extend well beyond the included Ice Fireglass. Driftwood, speckled stones, contemporary scenes, and traditional log sets are available separately, as are trim kits and reflective glass panel kits. If a propane conversion is needed down the line, the GCA048 kit handles it.
