The Contempo Fire Table from American Fyre Designs is built from Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete — a material chosen for good reason. The top is finished in Silver Pine, part of American Fyre Designs' Reclaimed Wood Collection. The surface replicates the grain, knots, and tonal variation of weathered timber with enough fidelity that guests will do a double-take — and enough durability that you won't spend a weekend sanding and sealing it. The base is cast in Black Lava, a finish that anchors the lighter, wood-toned top without competing with it.

At 54" wide and 36" deep, this is a table sized for a real gathering — not a loveseat-and-side-table afterthought. The 15.5" height sits deliberately low, positioning the 24" linear stainless steel burner where the flame is part of the conversation rather than above it. Output is rated at 60,000 BTU on natural gas, controlled through a manual knob valve with flame sensing — straightforward, reliable ignition without batteries or circuit boards to troubleshoot on a cold evening.

This unit is configured for natural gas. It does not accommodate a propane tank internally, though conversion kits are available separately if your fuel source changes down the road. A shut-off valve within 6 feet of the unit is required and is not included — plan for that in your installation. The recommended media load is lava rock or glass (10 lbs), and the table is compatible with a range of optional decorative media including river stones, volcanic stones, and creekstones if you want to dress the fire bed differently.

Optional accessories worth considering: glass wind guards to protect the flame in exposed installations, a protective fabric cover for off-season storage, and a hard burner cover if you want the table to pull double duty as surface space when the fire isn't lit.
