Ignition is match-lit with a flame sensing thermocouple, which monitors the flame and shuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out — a practical safety feature rather than a gimmick. The unit is certified to ANSI Z21.97/CSA 2.41 standards.

One detail worth knowing before you order: this table does not accommodate a propane tank internally. You'll need to run the included 10-ft gas hose to an external tank. If you'd like to keep things tidy, American Fyre Designs offers a compatible tank/end table (sold separately) that conceals the tank nearby without disrupting the table's clean profile.

Included in the box: the 10-ft gas hose (5110-26), 10 lbs of lava granules to dress the burner pan, and a user's manual.
